Canterbury Hydro – who are we?
As we are often asked who exactly Canterbury Hydro is, I thought I’d put pen to paper and give you the inside scoop on our history.
(Incidentally, we sell scoops…Ideal for mixing perlite with soil, pebbles with coco, etc etc)
THE INSIDE SCOOP?
Where is Canterbury Hydro?
Canterbury Hydro has been through a few changes in its history, starting as H2Gro in 2015 with 2 shops in Dartford and Canterbury, we changed name to Straight Up Hydroponics and traded as that for a few years. After the covid pandemic, the industry sharnk a fair bit and the company followed suit, moving to a single shop in Canterbury. Since 2026, we have been located on the Kings Mile in Canterbury alongside a sister company in the same premesis.
What can I expect from Canterbury Hydro?
Canterbury Hydro has evolved to become an improved version of a tried-and-tested model. While we continue to concentrate on selling top quality products at the lowest possible cost as well as ensuring large quantities of popular products are always in stock, we now also regularly expand our product range to provide our customers with an ever-increasing choice of hydroponics products. So what you can expect from Canterbury Hydro is quality, value and choice.
