The Alien Systems Rubber Washer 1.5″ is available in case the original sustains damage or is lost. This hard washer is for use with the Rain, Aero and RDWC Systems and fits the 1.5″ BSP fitting. It stops leaks when connecting the 50mm Dual flow fittings to the pots.
How does the Alien Rain Black Series work?
When the system is on, water pumps to the Rain tray on the top of each pot. These trays have multiple holes across the surface through which the water drips onto the media. As it covers the whole surface, there are no dry spots and no over wet areas. Plant roots can then use the entire volume of media, rather than just where a dripper is (for example). The volume of water that runs through the media is high, flushing away the old nutrient and water, replacing it with new. Your plants will have the freshest water and nutrients possible with every feeding. As the media dries, it does so uniformly too, further improving the root zone conditions and making for a more reliable and stable grow.
How does the Alien Aero Black Series work?
Alien Aero Systems are a sophisticated aeroponics system that free your plants roots from soil and other medias. The roots hang in the air from the bottom of a net pot while a high pressure pump powers sprinklers, directly spraying them with water and nutrients. After dripping from the roots, the water pumps back to the reservoir or to waste, whichever you choose. With no resistance to a media, roots grow explosively showing daily visible gains.
How does the Alien RDWC Black Series Work?
Alien RDWC Systems are highly effective method of growing large plants. Large volumes of water circulate between all of the pots in the system, while simultaneously being aerated. Unlike other systems, each pot has its own airstone to ensure huge amounts of oxygen are available to the roots. The roots hang in suspension from a net pot, submerged in the nutrient and oxygen rich waters for maximum effect. Simply use whatever media suits your needs best in the net pot (Cultiwool cubes are good). Due to the movement of water, each pot receives the same as all the rest of the pots in the system, ensuring an even grow across all of the plants.
