The G.A.S AC1 Controller will control the speed of AC fans in your grow room. There are a couple of different ways you can use it, both of which are very straight forward. Use it without the temperature probe and it acts as a dimmer switch for the fan, running it constantly at your chosen speed. Plug the sensor in and it will control the fans output thermostatically. Select the temperature you want to maintain and the fan will rise and fall to try and keep to it. Ideally, the probe would sit in the middle of the room, where a more average temperature occurs. The probe comes with a 2m cable which should be enough for most smaller scale grows.
In operation, the probe measures from 20° to 30° Celsius with an accuracy of 0.5°. It also has a hysteresis range of 2°, which acts as a buffer zone, preventing the fan speed constantly changing with the smallest of changes. The G.A.S AC1 Controller has overload protection, which monitors the temperature of the controller. In case of overheating, the fans will run at full speed, protecting the equipment from overheating.
