The Hydro Shoot HS100 from Secret Jardin is an entry level tent that is ideal for beginners. That’s not to say it doesn’t offer the seasoned grower plenty of features. The main skin is 190D Mylar, which is a great quality lining for a tent in this price range. This ensures you get the most out of reflected light from your lamps, maximising effectiveness. The zips used on the Hydro Shoot 2.00 are now better than the original version. They feature a double flap which closes the gap behind the zip for better light tightness.
The frame is made from Q195 steel and 16mm thick which, while smaller than the larger size tents, is still plenty enough for this size. The weight limit on the tents average at about 5kg per pole, which when added up mean that they are a strong enough for basic equipment. Hydro Shoot HS100 tents are very easy to put together and you’ll be ready to go in no time.
Each tent comes with a liner for the bottom of the tent when in use in the upright position. You can also turn the tent on its side if your plants won’t get tall but need lots of area. Micro greens would be a good example of this as well as plant propagation in plugs. Overall tent dimensions are 100cm x 100cm x 198cm.
