How does the Alien Aero System work?
The Alien Aero System is a top quality aeroponics kit for serious growers. In the Aero system, plant roots hang suspended in the air from a net pot in the top of the pot. Sprinkler heads spray water and nutrients from multiple directions on to the roots either in intervals or constantly. This high level of water, food and oxygen supercharges the root system and causes explosive growth. There is no media at all in the bulk of the pot, so roots meet no resistance in growing, speeding development. As an additional benefit, cropping and harvesting plants becomes much easier with no soil or coco to deal with. It’s a much cleaner process!
The Alien Aero System has many features that give it an advantage over other systems. A grid system at the bottom of each net pot helps stop oversaturation of the media within, staving off root rot and damping off. The wide drainage channels funnel water away quickly and keep the system from blocking up. You can set the drainage system up as a recirculating system or a run to waste, whichever suits your needs. Each pot has a drain cover too to stop root ingress into the pipework. As a closed loop aeroponics system, growers can use up to 95% less water than traditional soil growing, while maintaining very rapid plant growth.
