Bluelab meters are famous for being among the best in the world with long product life. The Bluelab pH Probe has a shorter lifespan than the meter in general due to it being a consumable item. For this reason, the Bluelab Replacement pH Probe is available for when the original probe needs changing. The pH probe is full of KCL which mixes with a little nutrient solution via a permeable bulb. Over time the probe contents “dilutes” as more water remains inside, eventually affecting readings.
