Magnesium is essential for a plant to maintain photosynthesis, making up part of chlorophyll. It influences pigments and other plant processes and is critical to the plants development. Many nutrient brands include a calmag additive as magnesium can often be deficient, especially in inert medias. Canna Mono Magnesium will help correct a deficiency and ensure the plant continues to grow in a healthy way. Liquid magnesium is easy for plants to absorb and the effects can be seen soon after application. This mineral fertiliser contains 7% MgO and 14% SO3 in the form of liquid Epsom salts )magnesium sulphate).
Canna Mono Magnesium application
- To be applied as a magnesium additive, amongst others, in the case of a magnesium deficiency.
- As a supplementary remedy to stimulate the growth and bloom.
- Add the nutrient solution or spray the leaves. Dilute 1ml/litre.
Dosage
Dilute 10-20 ml concentrate per 10 litre of water (1:1000/1:500).
Warning
A good fertiliser contains all essential elements in the correct proportions. An overdose of magnesium can result in a lack of calcium. Therefore, proceed with caution when working out the dose; an overdose could be harmful to the plant! Always be sure you are treating the correct deficiency! Adding the wrong element can cause further problems with a grow. Follow the manufacturers instructions carefully and keep a close eye on plants during treatment for changes.
