It helps rid the plant of minerals and other residuals that can negatively affect taste and aromas. In the last 2 weeks it is advisable to water the plant with no nutrients to get a purer product. This is especially true if you are using mineral base nutrients as deposits can accumulate more than organics.
Final Solution is suitable for use with any substrate from soil and coco to the hydroponic medias. It will help prevent mould growth too, which can be an issue with cut fruit etc. Always give nutrients and additives a good shake before using. This will ensure all of the ingredients that may settle are back in the mix when pouring it out. Add each product to the nutrient tank one at a time, giving a good stir in between. Never mix concentrates together in neat form as they can react badly, causing clumping of some elements. This can cause malnutrition or ineffectiveness and is a waste of nutrient!
