The G.A.S Interval Timer works with a feeding pump to give more flexibility over watering durations. Some growers use segment timers to turn their pumps on and off, but that has some big limitations. Usually, each segment is a 15 minute period, which means constant watering in those divisions. Sometimes even 15 minutes is too much, and you’d need much shorter feeding cycles. The G.A.S Interval Timer can be set to power pumps from anywhere between 5 seconds and 10 minutes. With this kind of control over pumps, you can really fine tune how much your plants receive and make changes to account for ambient conditions. This can be a great way to maximise nutrient and water uptake and boost the final yield.
The G.A.S Interval Timer can be set for intervals between 1 and 11 hours for regular, reliable feeds. The unit comes complete with a light sensor for detecting when the lights in the room are on. During the night phases, the timer will not run the pumps and feed the plants. Great for when plants are not taking as much water up as further watering can soak the media too much. This timer is suitable for a total of 500w max, whether that be 1 single large pump, or many plugged into an extension lead.
You can find more information on this and all the other G.A.S Timers on the Global Air Supplies Website. (Opens a new window in your browser).
