The G.A.S Phresh HyperFan V2 Controller will control both the Silent V2 and non Silent HyperFan v2. It controls fans thermostatically, but also allows you to balance the fans to achieve negative pressure in the room. This can be very important in some situations as a positive pressure with push unfiltered air out of the room anywhere it can. Under doors, out of roof eaves, windows with poor seals and so on etc can all leak smelly air out of the room. By maintaining the correct balance between the fans, this will never be an issue. Any air that leaves the room must do so via the carbon filter, scrubbing it of odours.
The Phresh HyperFan V2 Controller lets you control the maximum and minimum fan speeds you will allow. Many growers set the maximum speed at 100% to give more range of speeds, but if noise is a concern, you can keep the fan from getting too fast. Ideally the slower speed would never be set to 0%, as you’d always want air coming in for effective gas exchange. Of course, if you want it to be off, that’s perfectly possible! The LCD screen is helpful to let you see more accurately the settings you are applying.
The Phresh HyperFan V2 Controller features Reactive Temperature Technology (RTT), which is specifically for indoor growing environments. When temperature spikes are happen, the microchip in the unit reacts quickly to adjust the fan speeds and keep temperatures stable.
