The GrowMax Eco Filter 240 L/h filters your water and makes your tap water much cleaner. Water that comes out of the tap is fit for human consumption but may not be so good for plants. It can contain small particles from various sources and these can cause problems in your garden. There are often traces of pesticides and herbicides which can impair root growth and nutrient uptake. Also, chlorine is usually present as a way to control pathogens in the water system which is also bad for plants. While it is good practice to let water stand for a while after drawing it to let chlorine evaporate, it isn’t always practical. That’s where the GrowMax Eco Filter comes in!
The GrowMax Eco Filter has a two stage filtration process and will clear your water of impurities down to 5 microns in size. The first filter rids the water of sediment down to the smallest size. It then passes through an activated carbon filter which removes pesticides, herbicides, chlorine and heavy metals. The filter also gets rid of volatile organic compounds including chemical contaminants, benzenes, toluene, oils, THM’s, detergents, PCB’s. The result is water that is far better for your plants which will contain only what you put in it.
