The Lumii 5m IEC Extension Cable adds extra length between a ballast and reflector. Although many reflectors come with a decent length of cable, enough for most growers, sometimes it is too short. This problem can arise if you have a very large tent or room and the lights have to be a long way from the ballast. This IEC Extension Cable has a male plug on one end and a female plug on the other and is suitable for up to 1000w. Please note, some 1000w systems use a larger size plug and may not be compatible.
The Lumii 5m IEC Extension Cable is not only great for lights, but some fans too. Some brands of inline fan use IEC plugs instead of the old chocolate box system that you had to wire yourself. If your power cable isn’t long enough, you could use one of these extensions to get power to where you need it. As with all things electrical, be sure to check cables and components are compatible with the wattages you’re working with.
