SilikaMajic from Flairform is a silica additive that will enhance plant weight and strength. Silicon is important in plant growth because it improves structural integrity and its capacity to support fruits. Plants growing indoors don’t tend to have much access to silicon, so the plant grow soft and flimsy. While they can still be healthy like this, they are unable to hold up the bumper yields you are working for! Once the plant absorbs it, silica deposits in the cell walls as a rigid, quartz like matrix, boosting rigidity. The plant will also be better able to deal with pruning cuts, which will heal quickly and neatly.
Silikamajic is shelf stable for over 10 years! Many other silica additives are redundant after just 6 months according to the “molybdosilicate analytical method”. Silicon also increases shelf life of fruit because the tissues are stronger and have better resistance to diseases. Silikamajic contains 26% Potassium silicate and has an NPK ratio of 0-0-15.
Always give nutrients and additives a good shake before using. This will ensure all of the ingredients that may settle are back in the mix when pouring it out. Add each product to the nutrient tank one at a time, giving a good stir in between. Never mix concentrates together in neat form as they can react badly, causing clumping of some elements.
