The 1000w IEC to UK Plug Power Lead is a spare part available for when a current one goes missing! There are 2 versions of this cable to cover both sizes of IEC plug generally found in the grow room. The 10 amp cable is likely the one most people would need, being suitable for ballasts from 250w to 600w. You can also use them for plugging a reflector straight into a power supply if you’re using a CFL lamp. The 1000w IEC to UK Plug Power Lead is larger of the two cables is 16 amp and uses the larger size IEC plug. This is the size most 1000w ballasts use and is not compatible with smaller ballasts due to the plug size.
Please always be aware of the amp rating and voltage of spare parts etc. By making sure the cable is compatible, you’ll be sure everything is running safely. The 10 amp IEC to UK Plug has a 2m cable and the 16 amp version is 2.5m.
