The 25ml Measuring Cup is an alternative method of accurately dosing water tanks. While pipettes are good for smaller measurements up to 5ml, using them for higher dosing can be repetitive. Syringes are good too and at Canterbury Hydroponics we have a variety of sizes available. However, over time the seals can perish and graduation markings can rub off. That’s why we have the Measuring Cups available!

These cups have the markings etched into the side, rather than printed. This means they can’t rub off with use, plus they have no perishable parts. With proper care, they should last and last! They are easy enough to use with smaller size bottles, up to around the 1 litre size. Beyond that it might get difficult to use with drums of nutrient. If you are using larger sizes, we recommend using a Nutrient Drum Tap to make life easier. These screw onto the top of the bottle and allow you to turn the drum on its side, giving easy control over how much nutrient comes out. Simply hold the Measuring Cup underneath and turn the tap!

What are the alternatives to the 25ml Measuring Cup?
