The Autopot FlexiPot PotSock is for use with the 20L Flexipot, meaning that they are for the 1Pot XL FlexiPot and XL Tray Systems. The Autopot FlexiPot PotSock wraps underneath the pot, where it stops any roots that make their way through. The copper surface is highly repellent to roots and redirects them back into the pot. The FlexiPot PotSock is different from the Square Root Control Disc in that it extends a little up the side of the pot. This keeps even the most tenacious of roots where they are meant to be! By keeping roots in the pot, they can’t grow and interfere with the Aquavalve and cause flooding or droughts. A drawstring pulls tight around the pot, closing off any gaps that could cause issues. The Autopot FlexiPot PotSock should last a few grows, but it is good practice to replace after every grow. This is especially true if you have had some issues with disease.
About Autopot Systems
Autopot Systems are in use all over the world, delivering high yields with maximum water and nutrient efficiency. The systems use no electricity at all as the pots use gravity to distribute water to the pots. Each pot has its own Aquavalve which lets the plant take as much or as little as it needs. There is no real limit to the number of pots you can have, as long as the water reservoir is big enough to cope with demand. Maintenance is also a consideration when you get to very high number of pots! To help keep things running smoothly, we would recommend the use of a clearing agent such as Keep it Clean, System Maintenance or FlashClean.
