The Pro-Leaf 10kW Burner is for use with the CO2 Controller to raise levels of carbon dioxide in your room. Then the unit receives instruction from the controller, a solenoid valve turns the gas on and ignites it, producing CO2. It will continue to burn until the set ppm is reached, and then it will shut off. The Pro-Leaf 10kW Burner has an safety cut off function if it is knocked over, shutting off the gas. Please note – we do not supply bottles of propane for use with this product. The 10kW version is suitable rooms up to 220m².
About the Pro-Leaf CO2 Controller
The Pro-Leaf CO2 Controller is a handy tool for automatic carbon dioxide measuring and dosing. It is very simple to use, simply dial in the ppm level you want to maintain in your room. The controller takes it from there. The Controller works with both a Pro-Leaf CO2 Regulator or Pro-Leaf CO2 Generator to raise carbon dioxide levels. Be sure to read the instructions carefully as the unit requires different settings depending on which you are using. The large LCD display will show you current CO2 levels and your set level you’re trying to reach.
The Sensor that comes with the Pro-Leaf CO2 Controller is self calibrating, so should always be as accurate as it can be. It uses an infrared sensor to detect CO2 levels, which it then relays back to the controller. It is very important to remove the sensor if you use a sulphur burner as it can damage it. The Sensor has light detectors on it to distinguish between lights on and off phases. The controller will only dose the room when the lights are on and the plants are actively photosynthesising. Applying carbon dioxide in the dark phase is a waste as the plant won’t use it. If your fans are on at night, they’ll just extract it with the air. Pro-Leaf CO2 Controllers feature Fuzzy logic to prevent regulators freezing and a bandwidth setting stops the unit coming on too quickly.
