Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra is a calcium and magnesium supplement from Advanced Nutrients. If you know anything about them, you’ll know that it isn’t just that. Their team of scientists have come up with a product specifically for indoor growing plants. The ratio of calcium and magnesium is such that it will correct deficiencies in these macro elements quickly. As magnesium is critical to chlorophyll production and calcium is important in plant cell and growth, a lack of them can have terrible consequences.
How does Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra differ from other Cal-Mags?
Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra has other ingredients in the bottle that are often not present in other brands. Iron, for example is a micro nutrient that acts as a catalyst. This means an increase in both chemical reactions and metabolism which in turn speeds growth. This Iron is in the perfect chelated form for the plant to use which is great as the plant doesn’t need to waste energy on processing it. As if this isn’t enough, they put 20 different types of L-form amino acids in the bottle too. These are essential for many functions within the plant an being L-shape, they are far more available than D-type amino acids. Not only will it correct your nutrient solution, it will stimulate the plant to grow even more!
Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra is an excellent addition to your nutrient regime as its fine balance of elements make it an extremely effective way to treat deficiencies. It can also suitable to use along side nutrients as a preventative, making sure there is plenty of elements available. It is fine for use in any media from soil to hydroponics!
There is loads more information on the Advanced Nutrients Website (clicking opens a new window).
