Shogun Calmag is, as the name suggests, a calcium/ magnesium additive that will help battle deficiencies of these often lacking elements. Calmag improves nutrient uptake and translocation throughout the plant, ensuring there is always materials available where they are needed.
Highly refined calcium and magnesium compounds have been created to be as usable as possible, meaning your plant won’t need to waste energy absorbing them. Shogun Calmag also contains chelated iron which can also become deficient in intense grows. It is suitable for use alongside both Shogun and other brand nutrients. Shogun Calmag contains the unique “SmartZen” additive. This fantastic addition acts like a wetting agent therefore helping nutrient spread throughout whatever media you are using. It also assists in the rapid uptake of nutrients by breaking the surface tension of water, which then boosts growth.

Shogun Calmg is suitable for use in all substrates from soil and coco coir to any hydroponic media. It is also great for use in automatic and timer systems, drippers to flood and drain which makes it very versatile. Of course, you can even hand water with it! Please note that if using coir to grow in, you should be more vigilant against the effects of nutrient deficiency. Calcium and magnesium are often lacking in coco.
Shogun Calmag will help strengthen plant stems and branches which then help support the (hopefully!) bountiful harvest. Apply it either through the roots when watering or as a foliar spray. Mix at a ratio of 1-2ml per litre if watering and 15ml per litre if using as a foliar spray.
