The Revolution EC Vector fan is a new product from Systemair (the folks that bring you RVK fans). We at Canterbury Hydroponics find these fans most impressive and what it can do! Electronically Commutated (EC) combines AC and DC voltages and uses the best of both technologies that combine into a cutting edge frictionless motor. This is capable of delivering very high pressure levels in a very efficient way. The build is tough and robust and the case is one continuous piece. Great news as there are no joins in in the body which can result in loss of pressure or slight vibrations as air passes through the small gaps. This “one piece” construction also streamlines the air passage so that noise within ducting is reduced. The air flow moves in a twisted way, keeping it inline and far more efficient.

How does the G.A.S Revolution EC Vector Fan V2 perform with a filter?

One of the most desirable features of these fans is that the fan loses very little pressure when in conjunction with a carbon filter. Therefore, you can be sure you are getting the air exchange rate on the box and won’t need to factor in a reduction due to air passing through a filter. The Revolution EC Vector fans are built without compromising on components. Some may be put off by the price, but they really are the next generation of fans. They come with manufacturer’s 2 year warranty for your peace.

Fan Speeds:
  • 150mm – 781m3/hr
  • 200mm – 1332m3/hr
  • 250mm – 1822m3/hr

Grower must use these fans with the G.A.S fan controller which can control the speed of the fan from 1% to 100% with zero buzz or hum from the motor. The controller comes with a heat probe so you can set the temperature and the controller will do the rest. Please see the G.A.S fan controller for more information!

At Canterbury Hydroponics, we have a range of options when it comes to air movement. You can see them on our site by clicking here!
