The Systemair K 100 Fan (EC Series) is an expert level fan from Systemair that is purpose made for grow room ventilation. Made in Europe from high grade materials, they offer incredible durability and are subject to rigorous quality testing. The Systemair K Fan is for use in much the way the popular RVK is; after a filter for extraction, or to bring air into the room. Their metal body construction has seals to prevent odour leaks from grow room environments.
This is the EC version of the K Fan, in which the motor runs in a different way to AC versions. It uses Electrical Commutation to power the impeller using electro magnets. This not only makes the fan more powerful and over 50% more efficient, but quieter too! What’s more, when in use with an EC fan controller, the fan makes no buzzing or humming when the speed is lowered. This is one of the main selling points of all EC fans, as noise is of primary importance. This is especially true if the fan is used in a domestic location.
